Extended Day Programs
Pacific Northern Academy provides a number of fun and well-supervised options for before and after-school programs. The Lower and Middle School Extended Day Programs are designed to make early drop off and late pick-up possible for parents. Activities include snack, games, arts and crafts, playground or gym time, and the opportunity for students to do homework.
The Morning Extended Day program runs from 7:30-8:15am. The Afternoon Extended Day program runs from 3:20-6:00pm. Pick-ups after 6:00pm are subject to additional fees. All students not picked up by 3:40pm are automatically added to the EDP programs.
The Beginners and Early Kindergarten EDP program is housed in the Beginners classroom in the morning and Early Kindergarten classroom in the afternoon. During EDP, students will have structured social time and in the afternoon outdoor time and a snack.
Kindergarten through Eighth Grade students have two room options. In the EDP Room, students can participate in choice and structured activities or they can attend Homework Club for quiet time to complete homework. EDP and Homework Club take place in classrooms on the second floor. Both groups will have the opportunity to go outside and snack time.
Students in Beginners through 4th Grade may participate in the All-Day EDP program during scheduled no school or half days throughout the year. The All-Day EDP program features themed arts and crafts, games, outdoor or gym time, and snack time. All-Day EDP will not be offered on days that school is cancelled due to inclement weather. Create Academy camps will be offered during spring breaks.
