Early kindergarteners enjoy preparing snack for their peers in our classroom. One child will be responsible for bringing the ingredients for their cooking projects for the week and our calendar will change monthly.
February Snack
Science We have started the year exploring wood in science. The children have learned the names of different kinds of wood and paper and explored wood and water.
Newsletters are written weekly and let parents know what is going on in the classroom.
Classroom Coordinators Our EK classroom coordinators are Kary Harmon and Sandi Gerjevic.
Parent Lunches EK will be having 2 more parent lunches this year: Wednesday, January 16 and Wednesday, February 20 from 11:15-12:15. Look for more information to follow closer to these dates.
Guest Teachers Parents and family members are invited and encouraged to come into our classroom to give lessons on their interests and hobbies. We are also always looking for people to help out with cooking, building and art projects. Talk to a teacher about scheduling a time.
