COVID-19 Safety Precautions

Adaptability is one of the key skills we teach at Create Academy and the 2020 summer camp season put it to the test.  Our program was revamped to meet new COVID-19 health protocols, and was a huge success!   Since then, PNA has continued to adapt our practices to provide a safe in-person school experience all year.  For the 2021 summer season, we are offering an exciting lineup of camp topics, all developed with COVID-19 protocols in mind.

The following list is a brief overview of some of the practices we will be putting into place:

• Reduced group size; currently 10 students per group but may change according to mandates
• Groups will be assigned specific areas within the school building and outdoors to minimize areas of cross contamination
• Social Distancing will be practiced
• Games and activities will be redesigned to avoid close contact between students
• Cloth face masks are required to be worn by staff and campers
• Art and Outdoor Ed activities will take place in each groups’ assigned classroom or outdoors
• Increased hand washing and sanitizing of frequently touched surfaces
• Supplies will be distributed to individual students; community supplies sanitized between use
• Drop off and pick up times will scheduled and structured arrival/departure procedures will utilized
• Daily health screenings for staff and campers
