It's not easy to stand on a stage under the bright lights in front of a packed house, delivering a performance that leaves the audience humming show tunes at the end of the evening. Yet, that's just what happened last week at PNA, like it does every winter about this time.
Every year the students of PNA present a number of shows as part of the performing arts program at our school. Participation, while it may feel overwhelming, is not optional. Kids who enroll at PNA in the later years of elementary or as middle schoolers often feel intimidated by the idea of performance, but are quickly assimilated into the group and often discover the stage is a place they enjoy.
