WAYS TO GIVE

agsdi-hand-heart

Tuition funds mission. Philanthropy fuels vision. Join 100% of PNA’s faculty, staff and trustees and make your gift for tomorrow – today.

For over 25 years, a strong spirit of philanthropy has empowered the people and programs that help our students to learn, grow and thrive. Your support of PNA is an investment in supporting the best education in Anchorage for our next generation of leaders.

As an independent school, Pacific Northern Academy is a non-profit 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization and receives no federal, state, or local financial support from taxpayers. Tuition dollars alone do not cover the annual costs of a PNA education. Therefore, we rely on the time, talents, and financial contributions of all our community members to support the operations of our school every year.

Ways to Give

Thank you for considering a philanthropic gift to Pacific Northern Academy.

Your tax-deductible contribution in support of PNA honors the potential of our students, the work of our teachers, the accomplishments of our alumni, and the dedication of our parents.

Gifts of Stock

Some PNA donors make gifts in the form of appreciated marketable securities. This is a simple and attractive method of giving because of the substantial tax advantages.

Your broker may electronically transfer ownership of the stock to PNA.

Please contact for wire transfer information:

We will notify you in writing when your stock gift has been received.

Corporate Matching Gifts

Many area employers have matching gift programs that may increase or even double your donation to PNA.  For additional details about your employer’s matching gift program benefits and restrictions, it is often best to ask your human resources office.

If your company is eligible, follow their instructions to request a matching gift, and send your company’s completed form signed with your gift. We will do the rest!

Planned Giving

A gift in your will or trust is an easy way to support Pacific Northern Academy. A gift to PNA in your will or living trust, called a charitable bequest, is a simple way to make a timeless difference in the lives of PNA students. Bequests are:

Simple: Just a few sentences in your will or trust is all that is needed. We can give you the correct wording to use.

Flexible: Because you are not actually making a gift until after your lifetime, you can change your mind at any time.

Versatile: You can structure the bequest to leave a specific item or amount of money, make the gift contingent upon certain events or leave a percentage of your estate to the school.

Pick. Click. Give

Created by the Alaska State Legislature in 2008 to allow Alaskans filing for their PFD online to donate a portion or all of their dividend to eligible charitable and educational organizations.

Go to http://www.pfd.state.ak.us/  and select the green “Add or Change Your Pick.Click.Give. Donation” button.

Your gift, large or small, helps us sustain our mission of delivering excellence in scholarship and character for future generations of PNA students. Thank you!
